Hokusai – that’s not one of those cool Japanese words or concepts that sometimes find their way to us like shinrin yoku or ikigai. Hokusai is the name of a Japanese artist and painter who lived from 1760 to. 1849. He painted the famous Tsunami wave I used as a theme picture for my blog entry “Second wave – second visa“.
And now I found out, that he has been buried just around the corner from where I live. Small world :-)
